Thank you for your support of the Darryl Chappell Foundation Artists Marketplace.
Since 2019, the Darryl Chappell Foundation has empowered Afrodescendant artists to achieve their highest potential. We have supported 100 artists with $140,000 in direct support.
Our mission is to empower Afrodescendant artists to build sustainable careers through community, mentorship, and market access.
The Artists Marketplace concept began in May 2020 when a Foundation supporter asked how to purchase work from an artist featured in our Artists Talk: Reflections. That question launched an odyssey. We built our first Artists Marketplace on our website, then evolved to this Shopify eCommerce platform that brings these artists to you today.
Each artist featured here meets our standards for integrity and high aesthetics. When you purchase from the Artists Marketplace, you invest in an artist's career and support the Foundation's programs. A small percentage of each sale empowers more artists in our community through Mentorship, Artists-in-Residence, Artists Talks, Public Art, and market access.
Explore. Discover. Connect. Collect.
