SHIPPING POLICY
Darryl Chappell Foundation Artists Marketplace
Effective as of July 5, 2026

This Shipping Policy is governed by and subject to the Darryl Chappell Foundation Artists Marketplace Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings given in the Terms.
Shipping Policy
At the Darryl Chappell Foundation, we take great care in ensuring that each Artwork is prepared, packaged, and delivered with the attention it deserves. Every piece is unique, and our shipping approach reflects a commitment to preservation, security, and a seamless experience for collectors.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the Territory. For inquiries regarding shipments outside of the Territory, please contact us directly prior to purchase.
Order Preparation
Each Artwork is prepared for shipment with careful consideration of its materials, size, and handling requirements. Processing times typically range from 5 to 10 business days, though additional time may be required for works requiring specialized packaging or coordination. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
Packaging and Handling
Artworks are professionally packaged to ensure safe transit. Depending on the piece, this may include protective wrapping, reinforced packaging, or custom crating. Our goal is to preserve the integrity of each Artwork from the artist’s studio to its final destination.
Shipping and Delivery
We work with trusted carriers to deliver Artwork securely. Delivery timelines vary based on location and the specific handling needs of each piece. For select Artworks, delivery may require a signature upon receipt to ensure safe transfer.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the Artwork’s size, weight, and delivery destination. For larger or high-value Artworks requiring specialized handling, additional arrangements may be necessary. In such cases, we will contact you directly to coordinate details prior to shipment.
Shipping Insurance
The Foundation arranges transit insurance for all shipments of Artwork. Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable insurance policy as outlined in Section 7(d) of the Terms. For more details on returns for damage caused during shipping, please refer to our Refund Policy.  

Delivery and Inspection
We ask that you inspect your Artwork promptly upon delivery. If any damage is observed, please notify us immediately upon receipt, and no later than three (3) business days at artistsmarketplace@darrylchappellfoundation.org with photographs of the damage and original packaging. Failure to report timely may limit or eliminate your remedies under the Terms and applicable insurance policy.
Shipping Information Accuracy
Please ensure that all shipping details are correct at the time of purchase. We are unable to modify shipping addresses once an order has been processed, and delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect information may be the responsibility of the Buyer.
